Granite Square Ruler: Precision Measurement for Perpendicularity and Flatness
The granite square ruler is a frame-type precision datum measuring tool manufactured through aging treatment, machining and manual precision grinding. It has an overall square or rectangular frame structure, with four corners all featuring high-precision 90° right angles, and the adjacent or opposite working surfaces must meet strict tolerance requirements for perpendicularity and parallelism.
Granite features a dense and rigid texture with a high Mohs hardness. Its working surfaces are resistant to scratches or wear caused by workpieces and tools. Even with frequent contact with measured parts, it can maintain surface flatness and right-angle datum accuracy for an extended period, significantly prolonging the service life of the measuring tool and reducing subsequent maintenance and replacement costs.
