3. Low thermal expansion: Much lower than steel or cast iron; negligible micron-level drift from hand heat or ambient temperature shifts.
4. Non-magnetic surface: Won’t attract metal swarf, preventing false positioning and ensuring consistent surface contact.
5. XYZ-axis versatility: Multiple precision-ground faces allow flat or upright use to verify or guide X/Y/Z-axis perpendicularity in multi-axis assembly.
