Our mineral cast base is made using a custom-developed composite material that offers exceptional resistance to thermal expansion, vibration, and mechanical stress—outperforming traditional cast iron and even standard granite in dynamic environments.
With flatness tolerance down to ±0.5μm/m and straightness under 1μm over 1000mm, this base ensures unmatched repeatability and alignment precision across all axes.
Designed to support heavy-duty equipment such as CMMs, laser interferometers, and semiconductor wafer inspection systems, our mineral cast bases can carry loads exceeding 20 tons without deformation.
The composite material exhibits minimal thermal coefficient of expansion (< 1×10⁻⁶/°C), making it ideal for cleanroom and temperature-sensitive applications like photolithography or metrology labs.
Available in various sizes, shapes, and mounting configurations—including octagonal, rectangular, and modular designs—to meet specific OEM requirements. Integrated T-slots, dovetail guides, and mounting holes ensure seamless integration into existing systems.
Engineered to absorb and dissipate mechanical vibrations, enhancing measurement stability and reducing signal noise in sensitive instruments.
We use various techniques during this process:
● Optical measurements with autocollimators
● Laser interferometers and laser trackers
● Electronic inclination levels (precision spirit levels)
