Key Points for Using Granite Beams

Key Points for Use
1. Clean and wash the parts. Cleaning includes removing residual casting sand, rust, and swarf. Important parts, such as those in gantry shearing machines, should be coated with anti-rust paint. Oil, rust, or attached swarf can be cleaned with diesel, kerosene, or gasoline as a cleaning fluid, then blown dry with compressed air.
2. Mating surfaces generally require lubrication before mating or connecting. This is especially true for bearings in the spindle housing and the screw nut in the lifting mechanism.
3. The mating dimensions of mating parts must be accurate, and recheck or spot-check the mating dimensions during assembly. For example, the spindle journal and bearing mating area, and the bore and center distance between the spindle housing and bearing.
4. During wheel assembly, the axis lines of the two gears must be coplanar and parallel to each other, with proper tooth clearance and axial misalignment of ≤2 mm. 5. Check the mating surfaces for flatness and deformation. If necessary, reshape and remove burrs to ensure tight, flat, and straight mating surfaces.

6. Seals should be pressed parallel to the grooves and must not be twisted, deformed, damaged, or scratched.
7. Pulley assembly requires that the axes of the two pulleys be parallel and the grooves aligned. Excessive misalignment can cause uneven pulley tension, belt slippage, and accelerated wear. V-belts should also be selected and matched before assembly, ensuring consistent lengths to prevent vibration during transmission.
