HAIRLINE CRACKS
Hairline cracks happen naturally in the granite surface plate. They are tiny, almost invisible cracks that do not affect the cleaning, use, or quality of your granite surface plate. But if this area will bear heavy load, it will affect the precision and life of granite plate.

SEPARATED CRACKS
Separated cracks, on the other hand, are visible. They can get worse if you do nothing. Often you should ask some granite professionals to repair a separated crack in the granite surface plate by filling in the gaps with an epoxy glue that matches the color of the stone. Also, we will put masking tape around the area to ensure do not apply glue to the surrounding granite.
