Our granite bases are built to withstand extreme demands in environments requiring nanometer-level accuracy. Unlike standard stone or marble alternatives, our ZHHIMG® Black Granite boasts:

•   Density: ~3100 kg/m³ – significantly higher than typical granite and far superior to marble
•   Exceptional thermal stability – minimal expansion/contraction under temperature fluctuations
•   Low coefficient of thermal expansion – ensures consistent performance across operating conditions
•   High compressive strength & wear resistance – ideal for heavy-duty metrology and automation platforms

We reject substandard materials. Our commitment? No cheating. No compromise. Every component starts with premium-grade natural stone sourced exclusively for its physical integrity.

This particular model features:

•   A reinforced vertical support structure with dual oval cutouts for cable management and reduced weight
•   A precision-ground top surface for alignment of sensors, optics, or measurement heads
•   Integrated mounting points with hardened steel inserts for long-term durability
•   Designed for use in semi-closed-loop systems, where rigidity and repeatability are paramount

All parts are manufactured using Taiwan Nan Tai ultra-large grinding machines (each > $500K USD), capable of processing workpieces up to 6000 mm in length. Final calibration is performed in our 10,000 m² climate-controlled cleanroom, equipped with Reinshaw laser interferometers, WYLER electronic levels, and Mahr 0.5 µm dial indicators — all traceable to national standards.
