Precision Granite Beam Base
The ZHHIMG® Precision Granite Beam Base is a high-rigidity structural component manufactured from proprietary ZHHIMG® Black Granite (density ≈ 3100 kg/m³). Designed for ultra-precision positioning, assembly, and inspection systems, this granite beam delivers exceptional geometric stability, vibration damping, and long-term dimensional reliability.
Unlike conventional stone structures or marble alternatives used by low-cost manufacturers, this component is produced from true high-density granite specifically selected for precision engineering applications. It is engineered for environments where micron-level or sub-micron stability is mandatory.
This model features precision-machined mounting interfaces, internal weight-reduction cavities, and customizable threaded inserts for integration into advanced motion platforms and metrology systems.

All functional surfaces are precision ground and lapped in temperature-controlled workshops. Flatness, parallelism, and perpendicularity can be manufactured according to DIN, ASME, JIS, or custom specifications.

4. Cleanroom Assembly Compatibility
Produced and assembled in constant temperature and humidity environments, including dedicated clean assembly rooms simulating semiconductor workshop standards.
5. Traceable Metrology Control
Measured using advanced instruments including:
• Mahr 0.5 μm dial indicators
• Mitutoyo digital gauges
• Renishaw laser interferometer
• WYLER electronic levels
All measuring instruments are calibrated and traceable to national metrology institutes.
We use various techniques during this process:
● Optical measurements with autocollimators
● Laser interferometers and laser trackers
● Electronic inclination levels (precision spirit levels)
