Precision Granite Platform with Integrated Mounting Holes

This granite platform is produced using ZHHIMG® Black Granite, a high-density natural stone with a typical density of approximately 3100 kg/m³. Compared with common granite or marble alternatives, this material offers superior mechanical stability, internal damping, and resistance to long-term deformation. Its fine and uniform grain structure ensures consistent physical properties throughout the entire block, making it especially suitable for precision applications.

The platform’s mass and rigidity provide excellent vibration absorption, which is essential when installed near CNC machines, precision motion systems, or optical inspection equipment. Unlike metal structures, granite does not suffer from residual stress release, corrosion, or magnetic interference, ensuring stable performance over long service periods.

Precision Machining and Surface Quality

The working surface of the platform is precision ground and hand-lapped under controlled temperature and humidity conditions. This process allows the surface flatness to reach micrometer-level or better, depending on application requirements. The finished surface exhibits high wear resistance and maintains its geometry even after years of use.

Integrated mounting holes are precisely machined and positioned according to engineering principles that protect the integrity of the granite structure. Metal inserts or threaded sleeves are used where required to provide durable and repeatable fastening without introducing internal stress. This design allows the platform to function not only as a reference surface, but also as a load-bearing base for precision equipment.
