ZHHIMG® straight edges are made from natural high-density black granite (≈3100 kg/m³), offering:

Unlike metal straight edges, granite does not deform due to temperature fluctuations. Compared to marble, ZHHIMG® black granite provides significantly higher density, hardness, and wear resistance, ensuring reliable accuracy over decades of use.
Precision Hand-Lapped Working Surfaces
Each working surface is manually lapped by experienced master technicians, many with over 30 years of hand-lapping expertise. Surface straightness can reach 1 μm or better, depending on length and specification, fully compliant with DIN, JIS, ASME, and GB standards.
Structural Rigidity & Wear Resistance
The solid granite structure resists bending and surface wear even under frequent professional use, making it ideal for daily industrial inspection and calibration tasks.
