To ensure the longevity of your precision assembly, follow these professional guidelines:
1.Torque Management: Always use a calibrated torque wrench. Over-tightening can lead to localized stress on the granite around the insert.
2.Cleanliness: Before installation or re-mounting, ensure the internal threads are free of debris or oil using a lint-free swab and isopropyl alcohol.
3.Thread Protection: When a mounting point is not in use, use a plastic plug or a "dummy" bolt to prevent dust and cooling fluids from accumulating in the thread.
4.Environmental Stability: While our inserts are stable, always allow the granite base to soak in your facility’s constant temperature for 24-48 hours before performing final precision calibrations.
