1. Thermal Stability: Ultra-low thermal expansion coefficient, far less affected by temperature changes than metal, ensuring long-term geometric accuracy without datum drift.
2.Rigidity & Damping: Dense, uniform structure grants high rigidity to bear loads without deformation; excellent damping absorbs vibrations for precise measurements.
3. Precision & Durability: Nanoscale flatness after fine grinding/polishing; high hardness, wear & rust resistance cut maintenance costs.
4. Chemical Resistance: Acid/alkali-proof, non-reactive with moisture/oil, suitable for harsh workshop environments.
We use various techniques during this process:
● Optical measurements with autocollimators
● Laser interferometers and laser trackers
● Electronic inclination levels (precision spirit levels)
