In the ultra-precision industry, the foundation of any measurement system dictates its ultimate accuracy. Unfortunately, the market is currently plagued by manufacturers cutting corners, substituting premium materials with cheaper alternatives to maximize profit. At ZHHIMG®, we operate under a strict commitment: no cheating, no concealment, and no misleading. This integrity begins with our raw materials.
We exclusively use genuine ZHHIMG® black granite for our precision components. This specific material boasts an exceptional density of approximately 3100kg/m³. This high density translates to superior structural stability, minimal thermal expansion, and outstanding vibration damping. These physical properties are non-negotiable when manufacturing granite surface plates, air bearings, and CMM bases.
In contrast, many unscrupulous manufacturers use cheap marble to mimic black granite. Marble is inherently porous and lacks the necessary structural rigidity for high-precision tasks. Over time, marble is susceptible to micro-deformations, temperature fluctuations, and moisture absorption. When used as a baseline for semiconductor equipment or laser interferometers, these hidden flaws lead to catastrophic measurement errors.

The precision business cannot be too demanding. By refusing to compromise on material science, ZHHIMG® ensures that every granite component we deliver provides a stable, unyielding foundation. We believe that true precision starts with honest manufacturing and uncompromising material selection.
