At ZHHIMG, we believe that the precision business can’t be too demanding. That is why we have constructed a 10,000㎡ constant temperature and humidity workshop, engineered specifically to eliminate the hidden enemies of ultra-precision manufacturing: thermal expansion and micro-vibrations.
The Invisible Enemy: Thermal Fluctuation
Even the most stable materials, like our high-density ZHHIMG® black granite (≈3100kg/m³), are subject to the laws of physics. A temperature fluctuation of just 1℃ can cause thermal expansion or contraction, leading to dimensional shifts that are catastrophic at the nanometer scale.
Our 10,000㎡ workshop maintains a strictly controlled climate, ensuring that from the moment a component is machined to when it is measured and assembled, it remains in perfect thermal equilibrium. This eliminates the temperature gradient between the machine tool, the workpiece, and the metrology equipment, guaranteeing that our measurements are always absolute.
Vibration Isolation: The 1000mm Concrete Foundation
Temperature control is only half the equation. The earth beneath our feet is constantly vibrating from external traffic, heavy machinery, and even wind. For optical inspection systems and nano-positioning stages, these micro-vibrations can blur measurements and degrade surface finishes.
To combat this, our workshop floor is not a standard industrial slab. It is constructed from ultra-hard concrete with a minimum thickness of 1000mm. Furthermore, the entire perimeter of the constant temperature room is isolated by a shock-absorbing trench—500mm wide and 2000mm deep. This physical decoupling ensures that external vibrations never reach the precision components being manufactured or calibrated.
Silence as a Precision Tool
Inside the workshop, we have eliminated another source of mechanical vibration: traditional overhead cranes. We exclusively use silent cranes for material handling. This deliberate choice prevents acoustic and mechanical shocks from transferring to the sensitive granite bases and ceramic components during assembly, maintaining the pristine environment required for semiconductor-grade manufacturing.

A Dedicated Cleanroom for Assembly
Beyond temperature and vibration, particulate contamination can ruin the performance of precision air bearings and optical surfaces. We have integrated a dedicated constant temperature, humidity, and dust-free cleanroom that simulates semiconductor equipment environments. This space is strictly reserved for the final assembly of our most critical granite and ceramic components, ensuring that no microscopic debris compromises the functionality of your equipment.
