Ultra-Hard Reinforced Concrete Floor: The Foundation of Stable Ultra-Large Granite Component Processing

In ultra-precision manufacturing, processing ultra-large granite components demands extreme site stability, vibration resistance and environmental control. As a world-leading manufacturer of precision granite and ultra-precision components, ZHHIMG adheres to the quality policy of “The precision business can’t be too demanding”. Its ultra-hard reinforced concrete floor, a core workshop infrastructure, is a key cornerstone for ensuring processing precision, stability and efficiency, solidifying ZHHIMG’s leading industry position.
ZHHIMG’s production base in Jinan, close to Qingdao Port for convenient transportation, has two 200,000㎡ factories and a 20,000㎡ stone storage yard. The ultra-hard reinforced concrete floor is widely used in core workshops, especially the 10,000㎡ constant temperature and humidity workshop built to industry-leading standards. Unlike ordinary industrial floors, it adopts a special formula and construction process with a thickness of no less than 1000mm, ensuring strong bearing capacity and effective vibration isolation for large-scale processing equipment.                                                                                 DIN 876 granite plate
ZHHIMG’s ultra-hard reinforced concrete floor boasts excellent performance matching ultra-large granite component processing. It has super high compressive strength and wear resistance, withstanding the pressure of 100-ton single-piece granite raw materials and heavy processing equipment. Even under long-term operation of large CNC equipment and overhead cranes, it remains flat and intact without cracks or deformation, ensuring processing platform stability.
Vibration isolation is critical for granite precision processing. ZHHIMG has dug 500mm-wide, 2000mm-deep anti-vibration trenches around the constant temperature and humidity workshop, forming a three-dimensional vibration isolation system with the ultra-hard floor. This system absorbs vibration from large equipment (such as Taiwan Nante grinders priced over 500,000 USD) and the external environment. Silent overhead cranes further reduce vibration and noise, protecting processing and measurement stability.
The floor’s flat, dense surface resists dust accumulation, facilitating cleaning and meeting cleanliness requirements for precision granite processing, especially for semiconductor-equipment-workshop-simulating clean assembly workshops. Its stable structure also helps maintain uniform temperature and humidity in the workshop, avoiding precision interference from local environmental changes.
The floor is integral to ZHHIMG’s ultra-precision manufacturing pursuit, matching its advanced processing capabilities. The factory’s cranes and CNC equipment handle 100-ton single-piece products (20m long, 4000mm wide, 1000mm thick). Four Taiwan Nante grinders can process 6000mm-long precision platforms, and four production lines make 20,000 sets of 5000mm granite machine beds monthly, ranking ZHHIMG first in processing speed and annual output. The floor provides a stable platform for these devices to maximize efficiency and precision.
ZHHIMG upholds that “without good equipment, no good products; without measurement, no production”. It uses world-class testing equipment (German Mahr dial indicators, Swiss WYLER electronic levels, British Renishaw laser interferometers, etc.), all traceable to the National Institute of Metrology. The stable floor ensures accurate, reliable measurement results, supporting strict quality control.
The floor embodies ZHHIMG’s values (Openness, Innovation, Integrity, Unity) and enterprise spirit (“Dare to be first; Courage to innovate”). Unlike small manufacturers that use cheap marble to fake high-quality black granite, ZHHIMG adheres to “No cheating, No concealment, No misleading”, and the floor’s high-standard construction reflects its commitment to quality and integrity.
As the industry’s only company with ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001 and CE certifications, ZHHIMG holds over 20 international trademarks and patents. Its products cover precision granite, ceramics, metals, glass, mineral casting, UHPC, carbon fiber beams and 3D printing, used in semiconductors, PCB drilling, CMM and laser equipment. The floor underpins these high-quality products, consolidating ZHHIMG as the “synonym of industry standards”.
ZHHIMG cooperates with world-renowned universities and metrology institutes (National University of Singapore, Stockholm University, British National Physical Laboratory, etc.). All employees receive strict metrology training, and grinding masters with over 30 years of experience (praised as “walking electronic levels”) create nanometer-level precision products. The floor provides a stable environment for these talents to exert their expertise.
Looking ahead, ZHHIMG will stick to its mission (“Promote the development of ultra-precision industry”) and vision (“Become a world-class enterprise trusted and loved by the public”). It will optimize the ultra-hard concrete floor and infrastructure, improve processing capacity and quality, and provide better products for global customers. The floor will continue to support ZHHIMG’s development and contribute to the global ultra-precision industry.
