• Q: How does ZHHIMG granite compare to Indian or Chinese marble plates?
A: The difference is fundamental. Marble is a metamorphic rock with variable composition and lower density. Our ZHHIMG® black granite is an igneous rock with a consistent, fine grain and a density of ~3100 kg/m³, making it significantly more stable, durable, and resistant to environmental changes. We (firmly resist) the practice of passing off marble as granite.
• Q: Can you provide calibration certificates?
A: Absolutely. Every plate is calibrated using our world-class equipment, including Swiss WYLER electronic levels and British Renishaw laser interferometers. Certificates are issued by the Jinan or Shandong Metrology Institute and are traceable to national standards.
• Q: What is the lead time for a custom-sized plate?
A: Our four dedicated production lines and massive inventory of raw stone allow us to offer some of the fastest turnaround times in the industry. For a standard 1000mm x 600mm plate, lead time is typically 2-3 weeks. For large, custom projects, we will provide a detailed schedule upon consultation.
