The ZHHIMG® Custom Precision Granite Machine Base is designed for equipment manufacturers seeking a stable, accurately machined structural component tailored to their application. Manufactured from ZHHIMG® black granite, the component shown features an elongated rectangular body, multiple precision-machined mounting holes and several rectangular openings along its front face.
Rather than forcing your equipment design to fit a standard component, ZHHIMG works with customer drawings and engineering requirements to develop granite structures for specific mounting interfaces, dimensional requirements and assembly conditions.

Large-Format Manufacturing Capability
ZHHIMG's manufacturing facilities are equipped to handle large precision components. According to company-provided manufacturing specifications, the facilities can process individual components up to 20 m in length, 4,000 mm in width and 1,000 mm in thickness, with individual component handling capacity of up to 100 tonnes.
Actual feasibility depends on component geometry, machining requirements, lifting arrangements and transportation constraints.
Experienced Precision Finishing
Precision granite components require careful finishing of critical reference surfaces and mounting interfaces. ZHHIMG's experienced technicians combine practical finishing expertise with instrument-based inspection to support demanding geometric requirements.

Project-specific inspection reports, dimensional records and other quality documentation should be confirmed during quotation and contract review.

Yes. ZHHIMG offers custom precision granite components based on customer drawings and project requirements. Final manufacturability depends on dimensions, geometry, tolerances and processing requirements.
Can mounting holes and rectangular cutouts be customized?
Yes. Hole patterns, cutouts and other machining features can be evaluated against the approved drawing. Hole sizes, positions, depths and tolerances should be specified before production.
What is the density of ZHHIMG® black granite?
The company's stated material density is approximately 3,100 kg/m³. The applicable material specification should be confirmed for the selected granite and project.
What flatness can a precision granite machine base achieve?
Achievable flatness depends on the component size, granite material, reference surface, machining and finishing processes, measurement conditions and inspection method. Please provide the drawing and required tolerance so that the manufacturing team can review feasibility.
Is granite suitable for semiconductor and optical equipment?
Granite can be suitable for selected semiconductor, optical inspection and precision motion applications because of its dimensional stability and vibration-damping characteristics. Suitability must be assessed against the equipment's structural, thermal, dynamic and environmental requirements.
Can ZHHIMG provide inspection reports?
Project-specific inspection documentation can be discussed during quotation. Please identify the critical dimensions, required tolerances and documentation needed for acceptance so that the requirements can be confirmed before ordering.
What information is needed to obtain a quotation?
A 2D drawing or 3D CAD model is the best starting point. If drawings are not yet available, provide approximate dimensions, the intended application, key mounting features, required accuracy and estimated quantity.
