What is the typical lead time for a custom granite structural component?
Standard specifications typically ship within 2–4 weeks from order confirmation. Custom configurations with non-standard hole patterns, bonded inserts, or unusual dimensions generally require 4–8 weeks. Large-format components exceeding 3,000mm may require additional lead time for transport logistics. Contact our engineering team early in your design phase to map realistic timelines.
Can ZHHIMG® machine holes to exact positions matching our engineering drawings?
Yes. We accept CAD files (STEP, IGES, DXF) and engineering drawings in all major international standards. Our engineering team reviews each drawing for manufacturability and will flag any features that require special tooling or that might benefit from design optimization before production begins. This pre-production review is included in our quotation process.
What happens if the granite component is damaged during shipping or installation?
We pack all components in reinforced wooden crating with shock-monitoring sensors. In the unlikely event of shipping damage, we file claims on your behalf and expedite replacement production at no additional cost. Installation damage — typically chips at edges or hole mouths — can often be repaired by our field service technicians. Significant structural damage may require return to our facility.
How do I know the flatness tolerance is actually achieved — not just specified?
Every ZHHIMG® precision granite component ships with an individual calibration certificate issued under our ISO/IEC 17025 compatible quality system. The certificate documents actual measured flatness values across the full surface, measurement uncertainty, and traceability chain to the National Metrology Institute of China. We don't just promise Grade 00 — we prove it with data.
Are your granite components suitable for vacuum environments?
Yes. Jinan Black Granite exhibits minimal outgassing under high vacuum conditions. Our granite components are used in semiconductor deposition and etching equipment operating at ultra-high vacuum levels. Material certificates and outgassing test data are available upon request.
What warranty do you provide on precision granite components?
ZHHIMG® warrants that all granite structural components are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of shipment. This warranty covers flatness degradation below specified tolerance under normal operating conditions. We do not warrant against damage from impact, improper mounting, or operation outside specified environmental parameters.
