• Fully Traceable Metrology: Every surface plate undergoes a rigorous quality check using Germany Mahr indicators (accurate to 0.5 um), Switzerland WYLER electronic levels, and UK Renishaw laser interferometers. All calibration data is fully traceable back to the National Institute of Metrology (NIM).

Q: Why is black granite superior to gray granite or pink granite?
A: Black granite, particularly our selected raw material with a density of 3100 kg/m3, has a significantly higher mineral density, lower moisture absorption, and a lower coefficient of thermal expansion compared to standard gray or pink granites. This ensures it holds its calibrated flatness much longer under heavy daily use.
Q: Does this plate come with a calibration certificate?
A: Yes. Every single plate is individually calibrated and serialized. We supply an official calibration report verified with Swiss WYLER electronic levels and German Mahr instruments, fully traceable to national metrology institutes.
Q: Do you install custom metal thread inserts or T-slots?
A: Yes, absolutely. We can custom-bore and install heavy-duty, stainless steel threaded inserts or machine precise T-slots into the granite according to your CAD drawings.
