Crafted entirely from our signature high-density black granite, this monolithic structural base features a dual-wing bridge channel design with integrated structural pockets. The polished black finish highlights a fine, isotropic mineral structure engineered to handle sub-micron geometric tolerances. The flat main deck contains dual light-weighting/through-conduit windows, flanked by raised guide rails with flush-mounted, threaded stainless steel inserts. This configuration is optimized for direct mounting of high-velocity linear motor stages and guide rails without inducing internal material stress.

How does ZHHIMG® ensure that threaded metal inserts do not pull out or loosen under cyclic linear motor forces?
Our steel inserts are not merely glued into place. We drill precise, undercut cavities into the granite, insert the components, and encapsulate them using a proprietary high-strength structural epoxy. This epoxy mimics the thermal expansion coefficient of our black granite, preventing the assembly from cracking or shifting over millions of machine cycles.
Can this specific base structure be modified with custom hole patterns or different slot dimensions?
Yes. Every piece we produce is built to order based on customer-supplied STEP or DWG files. We can incorporate custom T-slots, guidance channels, and unique bore geometries to match your exact design requirements.
How is the flat surface validated prior to international shipping?
Every component is calibrated inside a dedicated 10,000 $m^2$ constant-temperature facility. Final geometric validation is performed using traceable Swiss WYLER electronic levels and Renishaw laser interferometers. Each shipment includes a comprehensive calibration document with measurements traceable to national metrology institutes.
