Can threaded inserts be installed in granite?
Yes. Threaded metal inserts can be installed in granite for mounting rails, brackets, motors, covers, sensors, fixtures, and other components. Insert material, thread type, depth, pull-out requirement, and position tolerance should be specified in the drawing or technical agreement.
Can this granite frame be used with linear guideways or air bearings?
Yes. The base and beam can be designed with precision mounting faces for linear guideways, air bearings, linear motors, and other motion components. For air-bearing projects, please provide load, travel, air-supply, flatness, straightness, and cleanliness requirements.
Is granite better than steel or cast iron for every machine?

Can you supply a complete assembled granite structure?
Yes. Depending on the project, ZHHIMG® can supply granite components only, granite structures with inserts and machined interfaces, or integrated assemblies with selected metal components and customer-specified accessories.
How should a granite gantry frame be supported and installed?
Support-point design is critical. Large granite structures must be supported at planned locations to reduce unwanted deformation and preserve the intended geometry. ZHHIMG® recommends confirming lifting points, support locations, leveling method, floor condition, and installation orientation during the engineering stage.
